100 hours of Therapy Dog service!

The agency that we do our therapy dog work with, St John Ambulance, recently held their annual AGM and awards bbq. Farrah received recognition for her work, having completed over 100 hours of volunteer service (up to the end of 2012).

they filmed about another 30min or so of additional footage which will be used for a feature on Therapy Dogs. That footage has way more Farrah and much less me ;)

Farrah on the morning news....

This morning, Global Winnipeg ran a piece on Therapy Dogs associated with the St. John Ambulance Winnipeg Pet Therapy program. Farrah was one of three therapy dogs picked for the show!

There was a 5min or so piece they did live with the morning host. Then afterward, for the better part of the hour, they filmed some other clips of us to be part of a larger story they are doing.

Farrah and the baby...

We've been a little pre-occupied around here and neglecting to post updates, since the arrival of our new baby boy, Nicholas, this past spring. Farrah has been unbelievable with him. She's like a 2nd mother, always aware of where he is. Very attentive and absolutely no signs of jealousy from day 1.

Today, Farrah (and the rest of the first Nero & Story litter) turned 4. To celebrate, there was steak for Farrah, and cake for us!

Farrah's favourite show: the Littlest Hobo

The other morning, the Littlest Hobo came on TV. Farrah came running up to the front of the TV and watched for over 5min! It was so cute.
