out and about in Northwestern Ontario....

Farrah joined me for the past 5 days for a field trip out to the Experimental Lakes Area in Northwestern Ontario. She's been exposed to some new experiences this trip: pilliated woodpeckers, icy lakes, giant granite cliffs and of course Moose poo...all of which she thoroughly enjoyed. A few pictures and videos from our trip. We're heading back to the big city either tomorrow or the day after, so we still have a bit more time in the back country!

more winter fun....

we took a trip up to Lake Winnipeg this past weekend, and played around in the wide open spaces and as well as in the forest. We never saw a single person the entire time we were up there! Nice sunny days and comfortable temperatures all weekend.The Spring melt is starting, which is also dirty dog season. Farrah finished her Juvenile class the other week and will be starting a new class soon.
