Our (not-so) little girl is doing great! she's been with us for a little over a month now and truly is a joy to be with....so smart and beautiful, catching on to everything like clockwork and wooing everyone she meets with her allure. Her name is now "Farrah" (fair-ah) which really captures her essence (means 'good-looking' in middle english, and 'charisma, joy, grand' in persian).
She's been going to puppy obiendence class once a week, as well as having fun at a puppy socialization class at the same facility. After interviewing about half a dozen training facilities, we found one that has great staff, spacious venue and a training philosophy aligned with ours.
The vet came by this morning for a check-up and a visit and gave her a clean bill of health. She weighed in at 37lbs (she is quite a bit smaller than her big brothers Prize, Hoss and Berne). Her two front adult teeth are in already. She's about 20" at the wither. She's still super soft to touch, but not as downy as when she arrived here. Her left ear drooped down on Saturday, but the right one still points to the moon! She's crazy for chewtoys and squeaky toys...sometimes she rotates between her squeaky football, her squeaky octopus and her squeaky frog and it sounds like she's playing a tune! We were down at the Assiniboine river the other day and she met the evil weeds with burrs...the burrs love her plush coat, but she is definitely not a fan of them!
